Hi everyone, I have never gotten contact lenses before, and I just wanted to know if they make disposable contact lenses for my degree of astigmatism in my left eye. Here is my prescription:

What brand of toric contact lenses do you guys recommended? thanks.

How To Train Yourself To Put In Contacts Without Blinking Or Moving Eye!?

I’m 13 (turn 14 in two weeks) and I just got contacts two days ago. I was able to get one in but only because she put the numbing solution in my eye. Same thing with taking them out. After that, I haven’t even gotten close to it. I’ve tried looking up and putting them in, and even putting them on top of my closed eye and opening my eye really fast to make them drop in but I still can’t get it. Is there 1) a way to train my eye so that I don’t blink or move my eyeball? and 2) an easy way that I can put them in. I start camp next week and I want to have the hang of it by the birthday. My dad paid about $70 something dollars for my contacts (astigmatism in my right eye) and their only a trial pair. I need help!!!!

My left eye is 20/300 with -1.0 astigmatism. My right eye is 20/4.50 with -.50 astigmatism. At 44, I am getting presbyopic. I need +1.50 reading glasses over my contacts. Is this a good idea or would I be better off with bifocals? And what about mid distance? Where is the cutoff? I’m so confused!

Will Uv Contacts Help Reduce The Effect Of Astigmatism?

Having uv treatment in your contact lenses will make no difference as to your astigmatism, they will do the same things optically as normal contacts.
What they will do is stop harmful uv rays reaching your eyes where they can cause cataracts or pterigiums

hey all
so i have astigmatism and have worn toric lenses in the past.
i now wear glasses all the time, but would like to get some colored lenses (0.00 power b/c i’ll still be wearing my glasses with them).
just wanted to know if i should be getting colored toric lenses now, even though they’re not to correct my vision.
i was thinking i do, because i thought toric lenses had something to do with the shape of your eye and the fit of the lense to your eye?
