30 Day Contact Lenses?

I’ve been using Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism and I’m suppose to wear them for 30 days then throw out the pair. Recently I got sick with allergies so I only wore them for a week, are they still ok to wear? does 30 days mean 30 times you put the contacts on or does it mean 30 days then you throw it out even if you just wore it for a week?

It’s 30 days of wear. As long as you keep them stored in a good solution then they’re fine
My doctor told me whether or not you wear them, once they have been opened it is best to throw them away after a month because bacteria could grow in them after they are opened. I would think it wouldnt be a big deal if youre only overwearing them a few days (assuming you havent worn them all the days in between) but it’s suggested you don’t go overboard since this is your EYES we are talking about
