Astigmatism And Your Sight. Please, Anyone Has The Same Problem?

I have astigmatism and can’t see properly anything without glasses. However, without glasses my face and particular eyes look very different to me and it drives me mad…. i can’t understand if it because of astigmatism i can’t see true picture or it’s glasses that make things look “preetier” in my eyes… ??? please, it drives me so mad… anyone has the same problem or knows the answer????? I would really apriciate it!!!!
I have an astigmatism. Part of the problem is that you are used to seeing yourself in glasses. After I switched to contacts, I had trouble getting used to my appearance without glasses. Studying your face close up in a mirror and just adjusting to the slightly different look might help a lot.
The only thing that I can think of is that you might be so used to wearing glasses that you don’t recognise yourself without them.
I get that sometimes too.
