Im 15 at the moment but when im older i want to join the army however a i have astigmatism in my right eye….can i still join?

Hi mate,
I’m not sure what astigmatism is to be honest.
But here is a bit of a guide..
If it effects your vision greatly (e.g, you NEED glasses) it will be a problem and certain jobs will become unavailable (things in the Infantry and Armour Corps’ for example)
If it effects your vision and is not correctable, it will be a BIG problem and most jobs will become unavailabe
You will still likely be able join with the condition (unless it really heavily impacts your vision), it will just limit what you may do.
