Can Anyone Tell Me About This Eye Doctor In Cairo?

The Eye Clinic of Dr Ahmed Khalilhttp://www.eyecairo.net/
Does anyone know about him? Is he any good?
I want to get refractive (Lasik) surgery this year. Since this surgery is elective and not necessary, I’d have to pay for it myself. My hope is that I can pay for it while visiting Egypt this year right after Eid ul-Fitr. I did some online seeking, and found the doctor above. Does anyone know about him?
Does anyone know of a really good doctor, whether it’s Dr Khalil or not? It has to be done very well, because I have only one eye – the other was removed back in 1984 – so I have no back-up plan, lol.
I have glaucoma, myopia and astigmatism in the remaining eye. The visual acuity without glasses is 6/22, and I can’t remember what it is with glasses, but it’s anywhere between 6/6 and 6/8.
Any information would be greatly appreciated, thanx.

I did this surgery 2 years ago, and Thanks God my eyes is good till now ,
I know a great doctor in Alexandria, his name is “Dr. Fatihey El Sahan” , He is smart , honest , good, well known doctor, one of my colleges went to him last week for doing the operation, but after checking him , he told him that he cant do it to him , bcoz his lens thickness is small, which may affect him after that ,
If u need any help , pls contact me , best wishes, take care,

i dont know this doctor .
i know of an excellent one in The International Eye Hospital in Dokki , Mustashfa al 3uyoun al dawli .
his name is Dr Hazem Yasseen.
call the hospital and take an appointment and let him examine you .
he operated on a relative and the operation was successful.

I’m not a big fan of the operation , but if you are intending to do it you must discuss the fact that u have glaucoma with the surgeon , there is something we use that raise the IOP for seconds during the operation , this may has dire consequences on your optic nerve .
