Can Anyone Tell Me If I Have Severe Astigmatism?

I’m 14 and i’ve been told i have astigmatism.
I wear thick lenses and i have been told i can’t wear daily disposable lenses. I need my glasses for short and long sighted.
i have -4 on my left eye and -3. something on my right.
My mom and dad don’t have it but my half sister has astigmatism but its border line.
Can anyone help as i’m confused?

for astigmatism the numbers will look more along the lines of
-4.00-1.00×180 The second number is the amount of astigmatism.
