i have severe astigmatism in both eyes…my doctor told me my eyes are like 1 in 1,000,000…they are super football shaped…are colored contacts an option?

Ciba makes Freshlook Toric Colorblends for low powers of astigmatism. They also make a number of lenses in the Durasoft series for higher powers of astigmatism. These lenses are custom made for the individual and the wholesale price to the doctor is close to $100 per lens (not multipack) This is definitely not the kind of thing you can go on line to order.
probably not. It is just generally harder to get a right fit and prescription for an astigmatism when it comes to contacts. They have come out with more contacts for astigmatism but they are not comfortable I know I tried them. I saw better with them but they were not something I could all day so I have regular contacts but I have a slight astigmatism. However they are working on it so it they may development sooner then we think.
This question cannot be answered confidently without knowing your complete prescription. There is a limited range of prescriptions available for astigmatism. The more astigmatism you have the less likely you will have a successful outcome.

if you know what diameter exactly, just google colored contacts and then email the people who sell them, you’ll probably find about 4 or 5 sites on the first couple pages
