		<description>Yes, you should be able to wear RGP lenses with your prescription. They are not as comfortable as soft lenses but once they are fitted correctly your eyes will adapt to the sensation after a while.
Whether you will need to get them custom made depends on the shape of your cornea. If you felt your optician did not supply you with enough information on these lenses, then go to see another optician who will be able to take the relevant measurements and give you more information on the lens that you will need to be fitted with</description>

High astigmatism may cause the RGP lenses to bend on the eye inducing some residual astigmatism that will require bi-toric lenses to correct and fit properly.  Soft lenses feel best when new whereas RGP lenses feel better after you&#039;ve worn them a few days.  RGP lenses are always custom made, but will be the lens of choice in your case</description>
