I want to get Freshlook Radiance contact lenses, but i have an astigmatism… Do i HAVE to get Toric lenses or would it work out with the Radiance ones? Radiance would suite me best since I have light eyes..they enhance them..It’s the ONLY color/kind I want to get..! Help!

get radiance that are also toric.. more expensive though
well if u have a high astigmatism, i wouldnt recommend it. But if its not that bad then go for it. Usually people with astigmatism have thicker lenses and chosing the right contact lense is critical because it can really irritate u. Ask ur doctor if ur astigmatism is high and discuss it with him/her.
If your astigmatism is minor then the sphere equivalent of your prescription should be fine to make you see 20/20. The rule of thumb is if your cylinder power is less than 25% of the sphere power than they usually do an equivalent, in which they take half the power of the cylinder (astigmatism) and add that to the sphere. Lets say your prescription is -3.00-0.50X180. Since the astigmatism is low they’ll just give you a contact with -3.25 DS power.
