I have an astigmatism in one eye, and both my eyes are very dark brown,
can I get blue colored contacts?
or does my astigmatism and super dark eyes mess that up?
I’ll be pissed if I can’t.
anddd, if you know, how much do they cost?
Thank youuu. :]

Hello! It depends on how bad the astigmatism is. I have just a little so I can wear regular lenses. For those who have it bad, you will need to wear a toric lens in that eye. What you can do is buy Durasoft in a shade you of that pleases you, and yes it will make your eye color as light as you want, and have one in toric the the other one in regular. Durasoft is famous for offering toric lenses in all the colors their regular lenses come in. Obviously you will buy the same type of lens pattern in the same color. You can go to any lens store and check out the Durasoft chart. The doctor on duty, if they are not busy, will even let you try them on for free to see how you like them. I have done this many times and they don’t expect anything in return, but they do hope that you will come back and buy from them.Chaeck out colored lens forums, you will see pics of poeple with the darkest brown eyes wearing all brands of contacts! It’s very helpful and I go to these sites when looking for a new color. I used to have black-brown eyes, but now they are light brown, hazel brown under strong lighting.Durasoft has a wide range of nice colors to choose from…their Complements line is the most natural..you won’t get a light or bright blue, but for some reason that blue in that line is extremely realistic. A co-worker wears them and the first time I met her and she had them on, I thought that was her real eye color, and I KNOW color lenses, I’ve tried almost all the brands and I’ve been wearing them for almost 20 years and her lenses fooled me. Of course it also helped that she’s Italian with light skin and hair! Ha Ha! Good Luck! : )
Sure you can .
Freshlook Torics come in colors that will make your eyes blue…even though it will look fake like all colored lenses do.
The Torics ( for astigmatism) runs close to 70.00 for a box of 6 at many places..then the regular lenses for the other eye…same color…run around 50.00…so thats about 120.00 for a 3 month supply.
the astigmantism shouldnt cause anything it all depends if the contact is spealized in that if it isnt then you can have one blue and one brown which would really cool but any ways my friend has dark drown eyes and she wears blue eye contacts so it wont fase anything
