I have a high myopia -9.00
If a docter doesnt prescribe contacts for astigmatism does that mean i dont have astigmatism. So when i order glasses I dont need to fill out the astigmatism part?

If -9.00 is your whole prescription or if it says -9.00 sph or -9.00 DS, then you do not have astigmatism. If there are other numbers in the prescription like -9.00-1.50×180, then you do have astigmatism. These other numbers would be in the CYL and AXIS boxes.
You will need to make sure that you are looking at your GLASSES prescription, though, as it will be different from your CONTACTS prescription. You may have astigmatism correction in your glasses and not your contacts if it is a relatively small amount. Your spherical prescription (the -9.00) is also likely to be different in contacts and glasses.
If you are confused, it is best to call your eye doctor’s office directly, as they will have a copy of your prescription and will be able to help you most accurately.
