Either I have a really strong astigmatism so I have to wear glasses all the time or I have astigmatism and poor eyesight.
I dunno.
Either way it has left me with wearing glasses all the time.
I’ve had them for years and now I’m tired of them. I want contacts.
Is this possible?
And how would I go about this?
I saw a commercial for 1-800 Contacts where they basically say something like, send in your prescription and they’ll get you contacts… I dunno.
Enlighten me, folks.

yes you can get contacts made for astigmatism. go to the eye doctor get your prescription and then you can order online. The doctor can help you to learn to put them in and clean them. I love my contacts, the only other choice is lasar surgery and I”m too scardy to do that although many people do and after many years of contact lenses I do get sick of them too, but still better than glasses.
I have astigmatism and have contacts.
You need to get a contacts fitting from your eye doctor before you get your trial pair and prescription.
I wear purevision toric to correct astigmatism. I suggest that you ask your eye doctor about contact lenses. It may take a few different lenses before the doctor finds one that works for you.
