Does Astigmatism Have Some Role To Play In Your Actual Prescription?

I have mild astigmatism. My left eye power is -4.25 and right power is -4.00. Had I not had astigmatism would the prescription have been any worse than that?
Astigmatism is a continuous reshaping of your eye(s). Yes… It can get better or worse and needs to be corrected (or at least tested for every prescription…)
Probably not. The prescription you are quoting is the level of myopia not the sphere or the Axis.
if it is at a level of less than 1 diaoptre this general has no significant effect to your sight and in contact lenses is left uncorrected.
