What are the pros and cons of contacts?
Is there anything I should know before I decide to take the plunge and buy them?
Are there special contacts for people with astigmatism like myself??

Today just about everyone can wear contact lenses, and there are more healthful and convenient contact lens options than ever before. Contact lenses are used to correct the same conditions that eyeglasses correct. For all details, information and remedies about contacts check out http://use-contactlens.blogspot.com/

Yes there are special contacts for people with astigmatism. You need to be willing to take care of contacts before you buy them. See your eye doctor and discuss all of this with him/her when you go in for your contact lens exam.

I have found that I actually see BETTER with my contacts. Because the lense is directly on the eye it seems to work better. You do need to be committed to caring for them and following instructions. Care has gotten much simpiler with the advent of disposable contacts. I started wearing contacts 20years ago and it was a nightly ritual of 15 to 20 minutes for the care and cleaning. These days its 5 tops.
One thing that most people forget or dont realize is that you really should not wear your contacts 24/7 365. You sould let your eyes rest one day a week. I do this on Sunday, that’s house cleaning day and who is gonna see me.
    I say go for it!
    Good luck.
