I’ve been wearing contacts for about 2 years. They’re the type that i’m supposed to take out nightly and replace them monthly. i have an astigmatism, whatever that means.
so anyway, i have an extremely bad habit of never taking my contacts out! i’ve been wearing my left contact for about two months now (i always end up taking my right ones out because they hurt my eyes, i think they might be a wrong fit idk.) and nothing has happened. they never get too dry, or irritated or anything.
For people who have done this before, what is inevitably going to happen to my eyes? will i lose my tolerance for contacts once my eyes freak out? I’m going to really start trying to take them out. i promise!

Your eyes will lose tolerance i have dailys and i kept them in for about 1 month and when i took them out it hurt like hell also my eyes became sensitive to light so try and take them oit when ur supposed to
the worst that could happen, you could go blind. i really do not think it is a good idea. You can’t really see what damage it causes, sometimes the damage is not visible.
You will inevitably cause painful keratitis which could cause vision loss. You are being retarded.
I had a case where I can remove my contacts with my fingertips. But first of all, it is very important for us to READ and follow directions that come with your contacts. We could or in your case SHOULD consult an ophthalmologist.
I usually wear Itachi contacts lenses from http://www.cococontacts.com. In cases that I cannot pull out the lenses with my fingertips, I used this miniature suction cups that are available in the pharmacy Though, these are recommended with hard contacts, but can be also used with soft contacts like mine.
Usually we could classify contacts into Daily wear, Extended Wear, and continuous wear. Daily wear must be removed nightly. Extended wear can be worn overnight, even in your sleep, or until seven days. Continuous wear can be worn until 30 days. So know what type of contacts you have.
If your using daily wear and wore it for a week, chances are you will have trouble getting it out of your eye.
I suggest that you check out cococontacts.com, they actually have some discounts and they also give free contacts. Check out the FAQ section of their website and you learn a lot about taking care of your eye.
