hi
yes it is possible that u might have started to have astigmatism if u cant see properly with ur glasses, but its just a possibility. u must have an eye checkup again and figure out wat the problem is.
the main symptom of astigmatism is headache, also when u concetrate on some writings at distance the letters will look a bit smudgy to u. also somtimes u feel nausea and vomiting sensations.
but its not perfect diaognise, its just a guess so pls consult an ophthalmologist.
if u have any more querris contact me on kothari_jay55@yahoo.com
i m a qualified optometrist runnin my own optical shop.
Any eye Doctor.
I had mine removed in 10 seconds with Laser Surgery.
They map your eye with a computer. Mine looked liked the globe of the world. There is Africa, America, Alaska.
10 seconds Zip, all gone. Eye sight dramatically improved, I was almost blind in one eye.
thats how i felt before i had contacts. i went to the optomotrist and they have to give you and exam to make sure and i ended up having astigmatisms in both eyes but not that bad in my left eye so i only need a toric lense for my right eye
yeah u said ur vision is fine with contacts but not with ur specs…there r few reasons behind this …1.contact lens correct astigmatism 2.it gives good vision .u can see as the normal eye.in astigatism people usually have problem with headache and it is more while seing near object. i am also contact lens weare with astigmatism .i think contact lens is everything for me without which u r energyless.what should i say than this.
You should ask the optician or eye dr. who gave you the eye exam. It would just mean you have an irregularity in the shape of your eyeball. Also you usually will have an adjustment with your vision when you switch from contacts to eye glasses. Are the RXs from the same time?
if it takes you a few seconds to focus on objects a little further away from you! or if you see things kind of blurry rather then sharp crisp object lines… then you should see an eye doctor!
