How Much Are Contact Lenses Without Insurance…?

I’m 18 years old, I’ll be 19 at the end of this month. When I turn 19 my insurance is switching. I’ll be going from NC Health Choice to Adult Medicaid (I believe its Medicaid and not Medicare). I know that Medicaid (or Medicare) doesn’t cover contact lenses. I just recently switched from glasses to contacts over Thanksgiving. I’m still wearing the trial lenses (this is my 2nd pair) because the first pair didn’t adjust well to my eyes. I have another check-up on December 18th, and hopefully the doctor will write me out a prescription then, so I can at least get a few months worth of contacts.
Anyways, my questions is, roughly how much will contacts cost me without an insurance? I’ve already had the exam and everything. I just need to know the cost of the contacts themselves. I do have astigmatism in one eye, but the doctor currently has me using a contact that’s not for astigmatism correction because of how my eyes reacted to the first pair of lenses I had.

The optifree oasis ones i get cost around $200 a year
