I Got The Wrong Prescription!?

Okay so my old prescription was -4.25 (right eye) and -3.75 (left eye). And I went to the optometrist on Monday and she gave me a new prescription of -4.00 (right eye) and -3.50 (left eye)!
I got contacts and she said that they don’t go any higher than -4.00 so that’s why she gave me that one, but my old contacts were -4.25! Why did she do this? I mean I took the eye exam and she said I should be able to see with that prescription. I really think I should be a -4.50 (right) and -4.00 (left). She did tell me I was a -4.50 but she stated that they can’t go any higher than -4.
I can’t see I’m like -.50 off on both of my eyes. Is she right about the whole contact lenses not being higher than -4? Or should I just see another dr.
>>>She prescribed the same brand bausch and lomb clear vision 30 day and night. They’re 8.3 (same as before). And I don’t have astigmatism. The prescription was for contacts.

I would ask the doctor to re evaluate you with the contacts in or find a new doctor. Also its a good think that you know so much about your prescription because it can save you from a lot of headaches!!
Uhm.. honestly you know way too much about your vision perscription.. I wear glasses and I have no idea what I wear, haha. No offense.
If you’re worried try contacting your optomitrist and ask them if that is the correct contacts.. are you able to see with them? If not tell her and she should be able to help you figure things out..
