I am already wearing monthly disposables but wonder if I need a special toric colour lens or if I could use ordinary ones. They are just for when I fancy a change of look, not for daily wear.
You have such a small amount of astigmatism you can just ignore it when it comes to contacts. In fact I don’t know of anyone that even makes it. Go to: http://www.coloredcontacts.com/ for more contact lens information.
Since the contacts that you are already wearing are prescription contacts i think you would need tonic colour lens, next time you go to your optimologist to get your eyes checked ask them if the astigmatism is that serious or bad to have to get a tonic colour lens for the desired eye color you want.

A – 0.25 Cyl is never corrected with contacts. It is just ignored.
The power in colored lenses would be the same as you have in your clear ones.
A -0.25 cyl is not enough astigmatism to warrant a toric lens (either in color or clear), assuming you are wearing a soft contact lens.
The regular contacts will do well. Usually the Toric lenses for astigmatism don’t come into question until -.75 cyl.
