I Have Astigmatism 0.75 On Both Eyes, Do I Need Glasses?

I work with a computer 6 hours a day and go to classes another 6 hours a day, 5 days a week both. Should I use glasses? if so should they be transition or anti-reflective?

This rx is not a really serious one. It would be something that would make you mor comfortable and get tired less while you are working, though. Transitions lenses turn dark outside and lighten up inside. They take about 3 minutes to go to full darkness and about 13 to lighten up completely. Anti reflective lenses take the glare off your lenses keep you from having night time driving glare computer screen glare and over head lighting glare. They are not anywhere a like. You can have either or both. So, the next thing is to ask about the anti reflective coatings . They are not all the same. Some have warranties, some do not. Make sure you know what you are getting. Cheap ones do not last long and usually have no warranties against scratching, good ones last about a year and have a year warranty. Premium ones last a relaly lonng time and carry a two year warranty. I use the Teflon or the Crizal coatings, they are optically better and have the best warranty.

It isn’t a lot of correction, but it is just enough to help your eyes relax. If you are noticing that you eye are feeling tired or strained without glasses, then I would definitely get them.
Since you spend a good part of you day at a computer I would highly recommend you getting anti-reflective lenses. It will lessen the strain on your eyes. The transition is good if you spend time outside. Just note that Transitions lenses won’t get as dark as regular sunglasses. If you are light sensitive, I would recommend getting a pair of sunglasses. I have Transition lenses with an anti-reflective coating and I love them.
