He told me with an astignmatism, they dont make colored contacts in that strength, no matter what brand. Trust me, I was bummed out too! Color lenses are not make of the same quality material. I would love to see extended wear toric but keep getting told that they don't exist either. The surgery was worth every penny I spent! Maybe not a practical solution for you, but it worked for me! I have FreshLook colored contacts in almost every color. I have fun wearing them and was bummed too when I was told I couldn't wear them before the surgery. You also have the option of wearing glasses with the non prescription plain colored contacts.
