I Look Ugly With My Glasses On And I Can’t Get Contacts, Can’t See A Thing Without My Glasses, Any Ideas?

I have very severe astigmatism and I can’t wear contacts because there is somethign wrong with my eyes so contacts scratch my cornea.
Without my glasses I look really cute, and it’s not like I hate my frames or anything, they look cute, but on me they look ugly. Laser eye surgery is not an option, it is really expensive and injsureance doesn’t cover it.
Honey… eyeglasses don’t make you look ugly. If you’re ugly, you’re ugly. If you’re cute, you’re cute with glasses on. What’s the big deal? You have listed all other options and none of them work for you. Get used to how you look with glasses on. End of story.

thinking about your finances will make any suggestion difficult the best and only option would be save for the laser eye surgery or get smaller frames u think suits u its unfortunate but loving your self the way u are would make you feel a whole lot better or you could go overseas check you travel expenses and surgery cost to see if its worth ur while.

Try getting different frames, there are some really cute ones out there, its seems that is your only options since contacts and surgery are out of the question. They have frameless glasses, so it doesn’t really look like your wearing glasses, maybe you can give those a try
Get prescription sunglasses instead.
Get a different pair of glasses that look better on you.
What shape are your frames? If they’re oval shaped, try rectangular shaped frames. Peoples first thought of glasses are nasty round things, but round glasses don’t look good on a lot of people, like me for instance. Everyone can find a pair of glasses that looks good on them, you just gotta keep looking until you find them.
Change your frames or change your attitude. I suspect you look fine with your glasses, ask your friends.
Why don’t you shop for a new frame that looks great on you, maybe you’ll feel better about it that way.
I have a bad astigmatism also, and they thought I couldn’t wear contacts, but I finally ended up getting a pair that work for me – its called mono vision – where one contact is completely different than the other.
Ask your friends to help you pick out frames. I bet you look a lot cuter than you think you do. Sometimes we are too hard on ourselves.

Find some frames that flatter you. Or find some that are frameless so you can see more of your face. That’s all you can do, you pretty much nixed all the other options.
hmmmm….tough one…try out different lenses yes i know you like yours but lenses can make a big difference they did for me…..maybe try those frameless glasses because you cant see the frame..i put a link showing what im talking about they cost about the same maybe a little bit more than regular lenses worth taking a look
who says you look ugly? if the frames are wrong for you try changing them, if the frames suit but you FEEL ugly send me your pic and i will give an unbiased appraisal
