Unfortunately, contact lenses require a different type of prescription than glasses, your eyes must be measured for fit.
Places like “Eye Exam 2000″ and “Lens Crafters” can perform the eye exam which is a lot easier than going to a doctor.
Below is a link to a Bausch & Lomb site that will send you a certificate for a free pair of PureVision contact lenses. You take the certificate to one of the places I mentioned above and they’ll give you the free pair of lenses after they perform the eye exam. You may have to pay for the exam, but I don’t think it’s a lot. I’d look the price up for you but I have a break-in here at the chemical plant I gotta go take care of.http://www.bausch.com/en_US/consumer/vis…

You need a valid contact lens prescription written by your doctor. And the prescription has to be brand specific. If you have a prescription written for Acuvue 2 contact lenses, you can’t order a different brand than what’s written on the prescription. If you want to try new contacts, go to your optometrist. You can be fitted for different kinds, and he/she will give you trial lenses to try out so you can decide which lenses work the best for you.
But you cannot, I repeat CANNOT order contacts with a spectacle rx

I presume you have a recent prescription from an Eye Doctor (if you don’t then get one) and the only reason you don’t want to go through them is price.
It’s possible to order lenses by just mailing or entering your prescription on web-site forms but I’m not sure if there are any free trials on toric lenses around at the moment.
It might be illegal in YOUR country to sell lenses without the direct supervision of an eye doctor, however if the sale or supply takes place over the internet “in” ANOTHER country, where it is not illegal – then no law has been broken.

    No.
You need to get your eye measured for different brands by going to your eye doctor. The perscription m ight be different for different brands, so if you don’t like the one you’re using talk to you eye doctor!

1st of all, i seriously doubt any of the 800 companies will send you TRIALS. they’re only going to sell you boxes.
secondly, in the US what you are suggesting is illegal.
