i am sick of glasses and contacts but i dont want to pay 5 thou and then still need glasses

It lasts around 10 years maximum for young people.
It really depends on the person how long it will last for, so maybe talk to one of the doctors at the clinic/hospital where it is done.
It does improve your life a lot, but it’s really up to you if you want to spend the money. I’m content at the moment with glasses, but a friend of mine who is a special needs teacher recently had it don’t, and says it has made work a lot easier because she doesn’t have to worry about glasses.
Your eyes won’t go back to normal after the surgery, though you may have complications.
