Is My Eye Sight Not That Bad? Wat Does All The Numbers Mean?

im 13 and got an eye exam a little bit ago bc i started not to be able to see things far away (chalk bored etc.) the Doctor said i have slight astigmatism also i have to scrunch my eyes to read or see things far away. every things very blurry far away. um idk what everything means but it says OD -0.50, -0.50, 120 and OS -0.50 what does that all mean? is my eye sight not that bad?
It means you are slightly astigmatic and myopic in your right eye and slightly myopic in your left eye. glasses would sharpen up your vision for distance things like movies, night time driving, classrooms, theater, ball games, stuff like that. It would help with stuff about 15 feat away and further, so using them in the house is not all that much help so you would not need to wear them for most things. It is kind of a personality thing, I know people that have this Rx that use their glasses all the time and some that don’t. It is simply a mild prescription that is mostly for distance stuff. Nothing big. It is always best to follow the recommendations of your eye doctor.
