If you have astigmatism, regular contacts won’t be any good. Did your optometrist specifically ordered those for you which contains astigmatism correcting properties?
You should know that your contacts prescription is slightly different to that of your glasses since contacts cling onto your eyes and glasses are a few millimetres away. Therefore, the prescription should be a bit lower or they will be too strong.
I had the same problem when I started on them but my eyes adjusted in around an hour. If you have any doubts, call up your optometrist.

    I have contacts too….
and im nearsighted…so my contacts help my farsightedness….and when i look at computer text, its kinda blurry too.
i think its because your contacts only help you focus on one thing at a time.
so…no there is nothing wrong with your contacts.

It’s possible they are a bit too strong for you. You should be able to see far off and close up.
If you get good distant and close up vision with corrective glasses, then your contacts are definitely too strong.
