Toric lenses have markings on them to indicate where the bottom is. You need to know when you have the lenses properly lined up on the eyes, or they won’t work right. Go over this with your doctor.
If you only have a little astigmatism ask your doctor if you can try lenses that aren’t toric.

Ok there are a few things that could be wrong… your eyes arent used to them it could go away mine did anyway… They are backwards sometimes when they are backwards it irritates your eyes… you might want to change the solution you soak them in, i use clear care it works good and i cant even tell i have the contacts in, sometimes if you dont have a good solution it could create eye irritation, but like i said clear care works good and gets the bacteria off them and makes them moist. Oh ya you might want to start with just wearin them for idk 2-4 hours a day then move to 4-6 then 6-8 and so on this wil help your eyes get used to them.
    Hope this helps

You may notice that you have certain weights in your contacts. You want to make sure that when you put them in your weights are in the right spot or else thye may irritate your eyes. Also adjusting to new contacts is never easy. You may want to start with just wearing them every other day for 6hrs max. Hope that helps!

I have astigmatism too, so I wear Toric lenses also. I thought they were uncomfortable at first but I kept wearing them and they felt a little better when I got used to them. You just have to get used to how they feel.
