If you don’t like the way you look with galsses, get contacts. I just did and they arn’t as bad as you think. I have astigmatism too. You will haft to get a pear of glasses in case you loose your contacts or can’t get them in or something.
    Good luck!

Get both…there may be some days when you cannot wear your contacts, so you should get some glasses as a back up.

You should get both contacts and glasses – because it isn’t good to always wear contacts, it’s very hard on your eyes, and for many people when they are tired their contacts hurt them so you’ll want a pair of glasses to switch out every once in a while – and it’s good to have when you wake up in the middle of the night – or it’s just monday and you don’t feel like putting your contacts in :)

You should get both because it is not recommended to wear contacts if you feel sleepy that day.

Get both just in case if you lose your contacts or glasses.

Your best bet is to get both. Most people do not enjoy wearing their glasses for a number of reasons. But sometimes you run out of contacts and they have to be ordered, or you scratch your eye, or for whatever reason you can not wear your contacts, if you can not see what do you do? Also, its best to give your eyes a chance to breathe with out the contacts, and its healthy to give a break. Same thing goes for glasses, either have a spare pair of glasses in case you break them or have contacts that you can wear.

try getting both of them. If you lose one of them, you would know that you have another one.

20/40 doesn’t really indicate the actual prescription in ur right eye. There are really good contacts out there for astigmatism, but I would really recommend getting a pair of glasses as a back up. They would also help when u take out ur contacts at the end of the day, and need something to walk around the house or watch some t.v.

get both contacts are good but sometimes your eyes need a break and contacts are really annoying when you watching movies your eyes kind of water after a while
