I Have An Astigmatism But Want To Get Contacts For Holloween, How Will They Affect Me?

If I were to get colored contacts for holloween and since they are not for astigmatism would I still be able to wear them fairly comfortably? I know I may not be able to see as well but my prescription isn’t very strong to begin with. If I just got the right power on normal contacts would that atleast help me see a little better? My Cylinder and Axis is the same for both eyes, -1.75 and 180 degrees. And my power is -.75 and -1.50 for right and left eye. I don’t know what this means but is my astigmatism so bad that I absolutely couldn’t wear normal contacts just for one night? Thank you.

Would Contact Lenses Affect My Tennis Playing?

Well, I have an astigmatism and have like 20/80 or something or something around there. so i have been going to my eye doctor and got glasses and am trying on different contact lenses.
QUESTION with my condition, would contact lenses help me play tennis better? cus i tryed playing with them once and i seemed to play worse… is the prescription wrong? or would i start out worse and gradually play better than i was because i have to get used to playing tennis in them? would contacts help?

Some one I knew said that with astigmatism the world looks curved in a way and that in the corner of the eye things appear stretched out. My doctor told me though that I can see clearly out of the corner of my eyes and my forward view is just a bit blurred. So how is the world really perceived with astigmatism? Can somebody explain this vision for me?

Minor Asthma Affect Military Recruitment? + Other Quick Question?

I have had a History of Minor Asthma since I can remember.. Never had an attack never had to use an inhaler ever. But after reading some other things, Truely if I where to Enlist ultimately I would want to join Airforce, which is something I dreamed about since being a Child.
But Generally first question is Are they Super strict like, If I go to a Doctor hook my self up to a breath thing, there is a small different in my breath Capacity and output by a Small amount compared to Average but thats it. Would they just put an X through my name soon as Asthma is mentioned reguardless or?
Second quick Question which would possibly cause largest issue, I plan to get laser Correction, but do they accept this as uncorrected Vision? Currently I think I would fail the Sight test with flying colors… Uncorrected mind you, since I have a 5.75 Prescription, just normal seeing issue nothing special, no Astigmatism.
Haven’t Had a chance to talk to a Recruiter quite yet will do as soon as possible. Btw I am Canadian but with simple Hyphen in my name I can be Duel Citizen so I have both Forces open to me. If I were to do Air Force I would Preferably step over the border.

my cousin is 16 and she is sick and tired of wearing glasses every single day… she has astigmatism around 2nd grade and she doesnt kno if she is blind cuzz she kept breaking them and get a new one to make her see very clearly…. cuzz one day when i told her to read the bill boards from the store… it was like 1 miles away and she can barely see it… she said it was fussy a lil, but still see a lil sharp… she kept asking me everyday and complaining about getting laser surgery…. i am also 16 and im not an expert on eye surgery… PLEASE HELP!
