After my vision gets blurry with the contacts and I take them out and use my glasses, my vision is fine. I have astigmatism with nearsightedness being more of a problem than farsightedness. I’ve tried several soft toric lenses and still continue to have problems up close. I tried hard lenses years ago and just couldn’t used to them, I have small eyes. I’ve read about SynergEyes and wonder if they may be the solution for me and if I should be concerned about oxygen to my eyes and the actual size of the lens. If anyone has any suggestions, I’d appreciate it.

I just got contact lenses and the first day I wore them they were really good and I didn’t have any major problem with them except a little dryness here and there, but after a couple of days it didn’t feel right and today they were constantly dry and I had to put eye drops in every 30 minutes or so.
I have astigmatism and have been wearing glasses constantly since I was in grade 6 and I am now going into 3rd year of university. I am wondering if this just may be my eyes adjusting. Also I ran out of the cleaning solution given to me by my optometrist and bought a different king but switched back when it didn’t feel right so this is my 2nd day on the original proscription. Could this also be a problem?
I would really appreciate an answer since my optometrist is a hopeless idiot and if I go back to him one more time to change the prescription and they may charge me and I don’t feel like paying for his mistakes

I was at work and got plopped in the eye with some fluid and my eye became infected with a stye. The doctor said styes are usually caused by staph. I took the medicine and it went away. I tried to put my contacts back in two weeks later and they stung really bad so I took them out. So i’m thinking maybe my contact (right eye) is infected. They cost 119+tax+shipping because they are color contacts for astigmatism. I can’t afford right now to buy another pair, not until october. I need a way to totally disinfect my contacts asap.
