I Have Corneal Astigmatisms Of -.75 In The Right Eye And -1.75 In The Left.?

Can Lasik fix them and give me perfect vision?
I am 24 and believe my eyes are done changing. I have had the same eye prescription for a year now.

If You Put In Non Prescription Colored Contacts And You Put Them In And You Have Astigmatisms What Will Happen?

Ohkay, I have non prescription colored contacts and I want to wear them but I have slight astigmatisms in one eye and I’m afraid what will happen. If anyone knows what will happen can you tell me, I don’t want to hurt my eye. (P.S. Don’t worry about the vision, I’m blind in that eye anyway)

How Common Is It For People To Suffer From Astigmatisms?

Hi all,
Just had an eye test and found out I have Astigmatisms of
-0.50 in my dominant eye and -0.25 in my other but I don’t wear glasses or contacts.
I didn’t think I had any problems with my eyes as have never had any problems with my vision.
Anyone know how common it is for people to have this level of Astigmatism? I ask because i’m trying to join the Navy as a pilot and want to know if this is going to be a problem.

Is It Hard To Get Contacts For A Astigmatisms ?

i have 2 astigmatisms and my left eye is a little diff
but i was curious if its hard to get contacts for that
and if not could i get them in collor

I have been having problems with my contacts. It seems like they get rotated and messed up pretty easily. Half of the time, my vision is very blurry. I have astigmatisms. I am fixing to go to the eye doctor soon, so I’m wondering if anyone has tried the new Acuvue contacts for astigmatisms. Has anyone tried them yet? I used to wear Acuvue and then the last doctor I went to told me they did not make them in the strength that I needed so he change me to Bausch and Lomb. They have been horrible, so I’m looking for something different. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Can Astigmatisms Go Away?

okay so i started going to a new eye doctor and got contacts for the first time. my old eye doctor told me that i had a slight astigmatism. however my new eye doctor never mentioned me having one and fitted me for acuvue 2 contact lenses which i hear are not for people for astigmaisms. so anyway im curious to know weather or not they can eventualy go away or that one of these doctors was mistakin? or can acuvue 2 contact lenses be used for people with an astigmatism after all?

I have slight astigmatisms in both eyes. My glasses are a 1.75. I really hate wearing them and can’t afford Lasik. My optomitrist told me I could never wear contact…Is he mistaken??? I have friends with astigmatisms that wear contact!

I have a slight astigmatism but I would like to wear colored contacts occasionally for theater.
Since contacts for astigmatisms don’t come in many colors I was hoping someone could tell me what the risks of wearing regular contacts would be, how comfortable they are and if they will pop out while I’m on stage.

Would Anyone Recommend Laser Eye Surgery For Astigmatisms And Short Sightedness?

I’ve been back to the optician a few times with my new spectacles, and still can’t see the small print on jars etc. They are fine when using them with my computer screen, but a bit blurry when reading. The optician said she gave me this type of lens so that my eyes wouldn’t become too lazy – the top being for the computer and the bottom for reading. The problem is I get impatient if I can’t read the small print, and now have started to reach for the pair I bought in the chemist as a size 2 works perfectly. My right eye is a little short sighted, and both eyes have astigmatisms. Should I have surgery?
