My eye prescription is very high. Both eyes are -1.4 and astigmatism is -3. Please tell me if Intralase is better or Visk?

Can Someone Have A “dominant” Eye That Will Always See Better Even With Glasses?

I recently got a new eye exam and glasses and they have been giving me headaches. I noticed that my vision out of my right eye through my glasses is not as good as it is through my left. My left is perfectly fine, probably 20/20. My right eye vision is blurry at a distance.
My eye doctor told me that the prescription is correct and that it is because I am left eye dominant. Can this be case? I know I have astigmatism in my right eye so maybe that is causing it? I would just like to not get headaches wearing my eye glasses.

If I have the same prescription for glasses as I do for my contacts, why is my vision better with glasses? I have astigmatism, so i wear toric lenses. I also have less headaches with the glasses as opposed to the contacts? Why is that?

i am having a conflict with america’s best contacts and lenses. i joined for a 3yr membership and contacts would be 12.49 a box. well when i was there some of the people who work there are rude. then when i was getting the exam i found out i had astigmatism. the doctor told me it would be a little bit more money to get the right contacts.. turned out i payed $28 for the right eye and $28 for the left. a total of $58 and some change. is what america’s best committing false advertisement. and if so what should i do?

Did My Eye Degree Get Better.. Because Of Contacts?

I recently went and visited the eye doctor and found that my left eye is now 325, rather than 350 from the last time I checked it.
However, my astigmatism increased, but not by too much. (I don’t remember the exact values.) I have very very little astigmatism. My right eye is still the exact same with minimal astigmatism and 400 degree.
I am currently wearing cosmetic contact lens that covers a bit of the sclera of the eye (slightly bigger than the pupil). I bought it at a glasses shop where they looked at my old prescription (350 left eye, 400 right eye). It doesn’t irritate me at all.
I was wondering was this good or bad that my astigmatism increased by a bit, but my eye degree decreased?
And did the contacts have anything to do with it?
If it did, why did it not affect my right eye at all?

Which Is Better? Acuvue With Hydraclear For Astigmatism Or Freshlook Toric For Astigmatism?

My eye doctor said that acuvue isn’t that great but I hear great things about it [the ones for astigmatism with hydraclear]. Right now I am wearing the freshlook toric , which vision wise are great wouldn’t change a thing with that…it’s just they uncomfortable.
Have any of you tried the acuvue for astigmatism?? Or have any of you tried both, I would love your opinions and comparisons =]
