My Vision With My Contacts Gets Blurry After An Hour Or So, Why?

After my vision gets blurry with the contacts and I take them out and use my glasses, my vision is fine. I have astigmatism with nearsightedness being more of a problem than farsightedness. I’ve tried several soft toric lenses and still continue to have problems up close. I tried hard lenses years ago and just couldn’t used to them, I have small eyes. I’ve read about SynergEyes and wonder if they may be the solution for me and if I should be concerned about oxygen to my eyes and the actual size of the lens. If anyone has any suggestions, I’d appreciate it.

First-time Wearing Contacts, Third Day In, Vision Constantly Blurry?

I got my first pair of contacts (Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism) three days ago, and I still can’t see to save my life. It feels like halfway between my previous glasses prescription and no glasses at all. I’ve worn them for maybe 4 hours on Friday, 5 hours on Saturday, and maybe an hour so far today. Can it really take this long for my eyes to “adjust,” or do you think they messed up the Rx or grabbed the wrong ones? I know I don’t have them in the wrong eyes. I have a follow-up appt. next Fri. but maybe I should go in sooner?

Help! I Just Got Contacts, But Things Are Still Blurry?

I just got contacts about a week ago and my vision is clearer than without them, but sometimes I feel like things are uneven or my vision goes blurry when I blink. I have astigmatism in my right eye, but I thought wearing contacts (toric kinds for the right) would keep this from happening? Do I need a stronger prescription or something?

Contacts Clear Outside But Blurry In Rooms?

why is it that when i step outside with my contacts, everything is clear and sharp like glasses, but when i go inside rooms or stores, everything looks a bit blurry and weird? i have astigmatism but i didnt get toric lenses because optician said try regular. [first time wearing it, this is a trial pair of soft lenses].

Blurry Eye Contacts?

I got some contacts about a month ago. My contacts brand is Buasch&Lomb Toric Soft Lenses.My left eye contacts is blurry , while my right eye is fine. Could anyone explain why is this happening?
I’ve looked it up a bit, some people say that dry eyes can cause that but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I tried putting eye drops on it but nothing happened.
By the way, my contacts are made for astigmatism.

Why Is One Eye Contact Lense Blurry All The Time?

I’ve worn contacts on and off since 1987. I have astigmatism and need to wear Toric lenses. After several years of wearing just glasses, I decided to go with contacts again. Both my eyes have the same prescription and the astigmatism is not overly abnormal. When I wore trial contacts, my left eye was fine but my right was blurry (even after several days). I went back to the eye doctor and found out that the prescription for the right eye had to be toned down a bit (this was done by wearing contacts and rechecking vision). When I wore the revised prescription, the right eye still remains blurry even after several days. The optometrist seems to think this is normal, but it is driving me nuts. Even the monitor at work is blurry when looked through just the right eye. These are supposed to be the new silicone hydrogel contacts. What to do?

Why Are My Contacts Blurry?

i’ve had my contacts for a week now, but theyre kinda blurry. i have astigmatism, and i have toric lenses. my prescription is great, because i can see really clearly with my glasses, but my contacts are a bit blurry. my eyes are different. i think my right eye is the only ones thats blurry. so do i need eyedrops to see better or is my prescription wrong?

My Contacts Are Really Blurry And I Can’t Drive At Night With Them In.?

They’re supposed to be the same prescription as my glasses, but I still feel like I need reading glasses or something. Sometimes it’s almost like the contact isn’t fully covering my eye, when I know it is and eye drops don’t really help. They’re Acuvue Oasys with hydraclear and I’ve been wearing them since June. Maybe I’m just not used to them yet, or maybe I dunno. Any ideas? Also note, that I’m farsighted and I do not have an astigmatism…

I Recently Got New Glasses For An Astigmatism But They Are Blurry.?

I am slightly nearsighted with a slight astigmatism in both eyes. I went to the optometrist because I was having headaches and my vision would progressively get more blurry throughout the day and was worst at night. Well I ended up needing glasses “as needed”. The doc told me to wear them all the time for the first week for my eyes to adjust. Well i can see things up close fine but everything far away is blurry. Is this normal with an astigmatism? The Doc said that i could even get motion sickness from it? I was just wondering why after 4 days it has not improved.

Also, I had waited 6 months to buy the actual glasses.
Should I get my eyes re-examined?
