Buying Contacts Cheaper Online?

I just started wearing contacts, and my doctor’s office is charging me $75.00 per box because I have astigmatism and I have to buy two at a time. Is it possible to just tell them that I would rather buy them online? How does that work–do they give me my perscription and I find a good site?

Can I Ignore The The “cylinder/astigmatism” If I’m Buying Contact Lenses For Just 8 Days?

I need contacts for work for 8 days in less than 2 weeks. My cylinder/astigmatism prescription for the left eye is -375, which would need custom made lenses. However in case they won’t arrive on time, would any store allow me to order lenses ignoring the cylinder?
btw, my left eye’s bad at birth so other than 3D perception purposes my left eye almost doesn’t contribute to my vision at all. Also remember this is only for 8 days.

When Buying Replacement Contacts For An Astigmatism Do The Values For The Dia Matter?

I am buying some replacement contact lenses online, but have had trouble finding a brand offers the same DIA number as my current pair, does that matter?

Are Lens From Http://www.lens.com/contact-lenses/lens403.asp The Same As Buying From Your Eye Doctor?

I paid $120 for two boxes of Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism. If I plug in these numbers to this website, is it the sameexact thing my doctor would give me? I am guessing a big hell yes…. and in this case i would be mad.
