Will This Change What I Need Glasses For?

A couple years ago, I got glasses for reading. Recently I went to my eye doctor and he told me that I had a slight astigmatism in one eye…does this mean I will need to wear my glasses all the time, or will I still only need them for reading?

Prescription Change To Remove Astigmatism?

I had an eye exam a year and a half ago, my contacts were
left -3.25 right -4.00, glasses were left -3.25 right -4.00 -0.25 x005. My glasses always felt too weak, I think especially in the right eye.
This year I got an exam a month ago, and my prescription was changed to left -3.25 right -4.25 and glasses left -3.25 and right to -4.25.
When I asked my doctor if my astigmatism disappeared, he said no, but that I didn’t need to specify it as it is very minor astigmatism and I could just get a regular lens.
This seems really odd to me, does it sound right to anyone?

Does Ure Eye Perscription Change From One Brand Of Contacts To Another, Or To Get A Dif Brand Do U Need A New?

Like, I have astigmatism and I don’t like my contacts cuz they get blurry. If i want to switch brands can I just order them or do I need to get a new perscription?

Change In Levels Of Astigmatism?

I have astigmatism in both eyes and wear contacts. When I first got contacts, medicare (Australia) covered me 100% for a cylinder correction of 3.25d in one eye (I got cover for both eyes). Now the optician says that its not covered even though medicare says that cylinder correction over 3d is still covered.
My question is; Even though I’ve been getting corrective lenses for astigmatism for 27 years, can the level of astigmatism decrease by 0.5d in 12 months
