Why Did My Contacts Get Worse After A Couple Of Days?

I just got contact lenses and the first day I wore them they were really good and I didn’t have any major problem with them except a little dryness here and there, but after a couple of days it didn’t feel right and today they were constantly dry and I had to put eye drops in every 30 minutes or so.
I have astigmatism and have been wearing glasses constantly since I was in grade 6 and I am now going into 3rd year of university. I am wondering if this just may be my eyes adjusting. Also I ran out of the cleaning solution given to me by my optometrist and bought a different king but switched back when it didn’t feel right so this is my 2nd day on the original proscription. Could this also be a problem?
I would really appreciate an answer since my optometrist is a hopeless idiot and if I go back to him one more time to change the prescription and they may charge me and I don’t feel like paying for his mistakes

Why Do Contat Lense Irritates My Eyes So Much I Can Only Keep Them On For A Couple Of Hours?

I am 21 years. -2.25 left eye and -4.75 right eye (astigmatism in both eyes too, about -1.00). Perfectly health.
My friend told me he often forget he is wearing contact lense. That is just very surprising to me because my eyes feel irritated everytime i wear them. Anyone know what brand of contact lenses suit me the best?I heard contact for astigmatism is usually pretty irritating to eyes. Is that true?

Couple Of Questions About Astigmatism.?

I have astigmatism and it’s so hard to see at night while I drive. It’s not so much that I can’t see anything my eyes just water because the lights from oncoming cars or lamp posts seem so bright and hurt my eyes. I’m wearing glasses right now, but does anyone know of anything that can help me for when I drive at night?…Something I might be able to buy?…One more thing I had Toric lenses for my astigmatism last summer, but they really didn’t fit me well at all and I stopped wearing them. Can anyone suggest a good contact lens for astigmatism?

Couple Of Questions About Contact Lenses?

Hi all, I am thinking about getting acuve advanced contacts for astigmatism:
1. How many hours a day can I wear them? Is 15 hours a day too much?
2. Can I take a short 5-25 minute nap with them? I take the train home after work and ALWAYS fall asleep as least for 5 minutes. Will this be okay or will it cause problems?
3. I am using a computer most of the day. Will this be harder on my eyes than it is with glasses?
