Can I Get Daily Disposable Contacts?

I have monthly contact lenses but I hate having to clean them every night and to remember to buy new cases every month. (Plus, I’m a germaphobe). So, I want to switch to daily disposables but I’ve read that some prescriptions don’t come in certain forms of contacts, which was a bit disappointing.
Anyway, I am -7.00 in my left eye and -6.50 in my right eye. I also have astigmatism. Are there daily disposables with my numbers and condition?
My dad is in the process of setting up an appointment for me but I’m just a little impatient and want to know the answer now haha.

Does anyone know of any good one-day disposable lenses for people with astigmatism?
I know Focus Dailies makes toric lenses, but I heard that they really dry your eyes out and are harder to remove, so I was looking for something by Acuvue. I looked on their website, and I can’t find any that are daily disposables (just the 2-week kinds). I heard that they do make 1-day Acuvue for Astigmatism in other countries, though. Do they not have them in America?

What Type Of Contact Lenses Should I Get? (overnight, Extended, Daily?)?

I think I’d like to get contact lenses, but I want to know which kind to use.
I love the idea of overnight extended use contacts (so I don’t have to take the contacts out at night, and I can wear the same contacts for 2 weeks or so). What are these like? Are they comfortable?
What type of contacts do you use, and why?
I have weak long-sightedness (just +1 in each eye) and slight astigmatism in each eye. My current optometrist told me to just wear my glasses for reading. But my friend who is a trained/registered optometrist but is not currently practising suggests I wear my glasses all the time, because I complain of frequent headaches and eye-strain. In the last month I’ve been doing this and feel more comfortable if I wear my glasses all the time. But I don’t want to have to do this, so I’d like to get contact lenses instead.

Are there any good daily contacts for astigmatism? I currently have acuvue advanced for astigmatism and they last 2 weeks, I wear them to swim practice but its fine because i never get any water in my goggles on dives or anything so no worries, but friday we play water polo where we cant use goggles and i get a lot of water in my eyes and taking the contacts off and on is too much of a hassle so any recommendations for dailys for astigatism? If there aren’t any dailys for astigmatism will lens without astigmatism still work? Thanks for the help
