Should I Consider Lasik To Eliminate Nearsightedness?

I am 18 years old and I suffer from myopia (nearsightedness) -5.5 for the left eye, -6 for the right eye and I have astigmatism too. My eyesight has not worsen for 2 years and I have not changed the prescription of my glasses since then.
Is it OK to get LASIK? Should I delay? Cos I don’t want my eyesight to go back the way it was if I get LASIK.

Will Hard Contacts Eliminate Double Vision?

Soft contacts used to work great but now i always see double no matter what brand! I have a high myopia and astigmatism will hard contacts fix my double vision problem?
