Can Lasik Improve “wondering Eye”?

I don’t remember myself having double vision every time I relax my eyes (when stair at a one spot) at all till 6 months ago, so I am wondering if it is a something that I have developed. I also have a astigmatism and neck rheumatoid arthritis. Does Lasik will help me to improve the eye vision? Please guys if anybody has info regarding that help me with answer.

I Just Got Some New Glasses, And They Are Slightly Blurry In The Right Eye. Help!?

I have Astigmatism.. My prescription is as follows:
SRX SPH CYL AXIS
O.D. +2.50 -2.50 x 18
O.S. +3.50 -2.50 x 168
Also, I had waited 6 months to buy the actual glasses.
Should I get my eyes re-examined?

Contact Question Regarding Trail Contact For One Eye.?

Well the doctor said my left eye is bad with astigmatism and that its hard to order a contact for that eye well i got a trail pair of toric 55 lenses and my left eye stays blurry still and causes my eye to itch badly but both eyes itch just left is worst. Anyways my left eye’s prescription is Med/14.4 -2.25 -2.75 x030 . anyways im getting from this my CYL is 2.75 but when i look on sites to order that type of lense high as i see it going is 2.25 for the CYL. So i was hoping to be able to try some Acuvue type lenses for Astigmatism but i dont see them having a high enough CYL for my left eye. So my biggest worrie is getting the left eye vision clearer and stop the badly itch and the doctor said he was ordering a new brand to try, but my question is is it possible to use a 2.25 or 2.50 CYL on the left eye and still be ok? because i want to be able to wear them without trying to rub my eyes like crazy every little bit. Any ideal what i should do?

Has Anyone Ever Heard Of A Condition Called “baby’s Eye?”?

I’ve been told by numerous opthomologists that my right eye never developed and that it’s like a new born babies eye. I should have worn a patch on the strong eye to make the weaker eye develop when I was a child. This condtion seems to affect one person in every generation on my father’s side of the family. Does anyone know of a way to treat this? I’m legally blind in my right eye 20/400. My left eye is 20/40, but I also have alot of astigmatism.
Please don’t tell me to have Lasik or any of the new surgeries, I’ve been told over and over that no doctor would touch me for that because for some reason if my left eye got damaged during the surgery that I’d be totally blind.
I have heard of excerises to correct this, but I’m not sure where to look this up or what they are called. Please advise.

I’m 19 With Myopic Astigmatism, My Perscription Is -4.25 Right Eye And -4.75 Left Eye. How Bad Is This?

That’s either legally blind or really close. I’ve never seen anyone over a 5.0 and they couldn’t see two inches in front of their face. Since you are 19 I’m going to say that it will probably get better with time and then it will level off. Just do things now to prevent it front getting worse like not reading in low light and things like that.

-0.25D sphere on the left is the lowest amount that’s prescribed. Right at to a-little-better-than 20/20. The -0.75D cylinder for the right eye is noticable, but still not much. About 20/25 to 20/30. Since the left eye is so good, you won’t find yourself wearing your glasses, and you won’t be disadvantaged from not wearing them.
Yes, you’ll see a little more clearly. But, not enough so to make up for reflections and frame obstruction.

It depends on how much astigmatism you have, for one. If you have a very low amount, glasses or contacts may not be worth it, since your vision isn’t really very impaired. Usually though, people with astigmatism benefit the most from wearing glasses or contacts full time. This is because astigmatism doesn’t just affect close or far away vision, it causes vision at all distances to be blurry. I have a relatively high amount of astimatism in both eyes, so I can’t really read, drive, or do much of anything without glasses or contacts… Makes activities like swimming difficult, since it isn’t a very good idea to wear glasses or contacts while doing it!

The Doctor Said I Have A Slight Astigmatism In My Right Eye.?

I’m from Mongolia, and there was one english optician so i went to him to get my eyes checked he said i had astigmatism. i didn’t really know what it meant. i wear glasses but i prefer contacts. i don’t think the mongolian doctors know about astigmatism, so when i got the contacts i think i just got normal contacts instead of astigmatism contacts. i’ve been wearing contacts for 2 years now. and is it ok for me to wear normal contacts ( i don’t think they have contacts for astigmatism in my country) am i seriously harming my eyes?
