Lots of people have told me this and it makes me self concious kinda. I can’t see anybody elses and the same people have told me that I’m the only one that you can see them.

Can A Soft Contact Lens Get “stuck” Behind The Eyeball?

Just had a horrible contact Lens moment. I’ve started using Air Optix (without incident for a couple of months) and started on my new pair. My astigmatism eye one felt strange and scratchy from the minute I put it in, so I tried to take it out again, but couldn’t. I ended up looking in the mirror only to discover it had “vanished” On closer inspection it was way up at the top of my eyeball, in a crumple.
Ok, so I was a bit freaked out. I am sure I put the lens in the correct way, ie not inside out, I probably didn’t try to take it out the correct way though (I sort of slid it across my eye and hoped it would come out of the far corner, but it didn’t) but what is really bugging me is its finishing place. Could it have gone behind my eye, got stuck etc? or am I being a bit silly
Is this a common occurrence? (I’ve only just started using lenses)
Thank you in advance

okay, so last night i got home at about 2AM and fell asleep without taking my contacts out. when i woke up, i looked in my mirror and my left eye was blood shot. so i attempted to take out the contact and my eye hurt when i touched it. it is still bloodshot even though i got out the contact. is this anything to worry about? oh, and my left lens is a toric lens because i have an astigmatism in my left eye.
