Does .75 And 1.00 Farsightedness Require Glasses?

I have strong astigmatism and plan on wearing contact lenses most of the time. I despise the look of farsightedness lenses on glasses and am wondering if I can have the optician can set the glasses to correct only for astigmatism so that my glasses don’t have the magnifying lenses. Is it even possible? Is it really beneficial for me to have the farsightedness prescription too? The majority of the time I would anyway wear contact lenses that would correct the astigmatism and near vision.

My doctor wouldn’t issue an Rx for contacts for me because the Rx would be too complex for contacts. He said that the effectiveness of them would be much lower than glasses because of this Rx. Also, I cannot get Laser surgery because of the astigmatism. Does this mean I am stuck in glasses for life?

Can You Have Astigmatism Without Having Vision Problems (nearsightedness / Farsightedness)?

I have really bad astigmatism, and it’s worsened 70% in one year. I’m also farsighted. The doctor fitted me with SO many different pairs of contacts for astigmatism, and they were all painful and didn’t fit properly. (He said it was because my eyes were different?) Right now, I wear Acuvue soft contacts, so I’m wondering if I can get glasses to go over the contacts (just to wear in school, not all the time)? Personally, I don’t think my astigmatism is horrible, because I can still see (with Acuvue contacts), but the doctor thinks I should do something about it.

How Can One Have Both Astigmatism And Far-sightedness?

Can it be that I have one condition on one eye and the other condition on the other eye?

Why Do People With Farsightedness Definitely Develop Presbyopia Later On In Life?

My optometrist says that in my 40’s I will develop presbyopia since I have astigmatism and hyperopia. He claims that it’s not because everybody eventually becomes presbyopic, but rather because I have farsightedness. Is that true? And why wouldn’t my regular correction for farsightedness correct the presbyopia? Why would I need reading glasses if I already have the correct lens?

Does Anyone Know A Contact Lens Brand That Can Be Adjusted For Astigmatism And Farsightedness?

i have astigmatism and my doctor says im also farsighted. Becuase of this my prescriptions is kinda complicated. the problem is the lenses i wear are very anoying and uncomfortable. The brand i wear is toric 55. is there anyway to get lenses from another rand like acuvue or something that can fit my prescription?
