If You Put In Non Prescription Colored Contacts And You Put Them In And You Have Astigmatisms What Will Happen?

Ohkay, I have non prescription colored contacts and I want to wear them but I have slight astigmatisms in one eye and I’m afraid what will happen. If anyone knows what will happen can you tell me, I don’t want to hurt my eye. (P.S. Don’t worry about the vision, I’m blind in that eye anyway)

Ohkay so, I have astigmatism and a pretty powerful prescription. Before I had astigmatism, and before my prescription reached to -5.25, I would wear Freshlook Colourblends in Hazel without any problems. Now that I do have these “problems,” the only option I would have for coloured lenses are the Freshlook Colors (not blends), but I did not purchase those because comparing to the Colourblends, they looked fake and ugly on dark eyes; and also, the only available colours were green, blue, gray, and honey (no hazel there…). So, I decided to go with Acuvue Oasis (they are without colour). I asked my friend if she knew of any other brand of contact lenses that carry the colour hazel for both a prescription like mine and astigmatism as well. She told me that she didn’t know much about contact lenses, but if she were me, she would just buy the Freshlook Colorblends in Hazel (without a prescription) and she would stack them on her Acuvue Oasis (with the prescription). This sounds like a great idea, but what are the effects on your eyes? Has anyone done this before?

I started wearing contacts and I am going to order my second time. My doctor said I had a slight Astigmatism, so he said I should get toric lenses, so I did. But this is at Americans Best and they are a company so they want me to buy the more expansive ones. He was a little sketchy explaining why I should use toric ones instead of normal ones since I only had a slight problem. So what would happen, (the effect) if I wore none-astigmatism lenses? I Have Astigmatism. What Would Happen If I Wore Normal Contacts?

I have astigmatism and I’d really like to get colored contacts. However, colored contacts for people with astigmatism is extremely expensive. Normal contacts are also significantly less expensive than toric contacts. What would happen to my eyes if I were to get normal (non-toric) contacts?
