After I Get Lasik Eye Surgery Can I…?

i want to get lasik really bad. i am going in for checkup to see if i can next week. but i was wondering, if i get it, can i wear colored contacts. like right now i cant because i have a nearsighted astigmatism in both eyes.

Do you think I have astigmatism…. Okay sometimes when i am trying to read, watch t.v, or just get on the computer and read and surf the web I get these headaches sometimes major and some minor… And my eyes hurt not stinging but like a muscle is straining and they just hurt in pain; my head and my eyes hurt worst in bright light… Sometimes my eyes and my head start hurting when I am just watching t.v or something. My Dad, My Aunt and a few of family member do have astigmatism. Can you do anything to help astigmatism… I do not want to go to the eye doctor. I have heard that astigmatism may be corrected with eye glasses or contact lenses. You do not have to have fancy expensive laser surgery do you.
Can anyone give me a website to check in on astigmatism.
