I don’t remember myself having double vision every time I relax my eyes (when stair at a one spot) at all till 6 months ago, so I am wondering if it is a something that I have developed. I also have a astigmatism and neck rheumatoid arthritis. Does Lasik will help me to improve the eye vision? Please guys if anybody has info regarding that help me with answer.

Is there a way you can improve Astigmatism? Ive reached 300 and I’ve been told that the corrective glasses and lenses are out of the question. I cant take surgery since I’m not even 15. I was wondering if there was a natural way of improving my eyesight.

My eye sight is very poor and need to wear toric contact lenses to correct moderate astigmatism and short sightedness. I stumbled accross web sites claiming to be able to improve eye sight with regular eye exercises. Has anyone with the same sort of condition eyes tried this and does it really work to the extent they claim.

I’m 20 years old and my eyesight is really bad (probably from all the years of video games, tv, and surfing the internet). I’ve decided to limit my time spent on these activities, but what I want to know is if there’s a way to improve your eyesight without the use of glasses or contacts?
Also, I’ve heard from someone that people with astigmatism can’t get that eye restoration surgery. Is that true? Not that I can afford it right now anyway, I just want to know my options later on.

Hello, i am 15 years old and i suffer from seriously poor vision
my left eye is -13.5 and the rights 17.25
i also have double vision and an a slight astigmatism
My right eye likes to look inwards when i look at things up close, it doesn’t happen that often and to the untrained eye its hardly noticeable(most of the time)
ive been told its something to do with messages from my brain and the muscles in my right eye
Ive been wearing glasses since i was 1 or 2 , cant remember (they broke too much ha ha)
ive been wearing contacts of a lesser prescription, a 12 in both
and I’m getting new contacts which aren’t fitted to my eyes but are of perfect prescription (new technology or something)
Are there any ways i can get high prescription contacts fitted?
I was wondering if there were any ways in which i can help combat this at my age (i.e. – surgery or eye exercises), i know ask eye surgery (optometrists recommended this rather than laser eye surgery for me)
Ive been to a specialist who said something about catarac surgery
i was young at the time and ive since forgotten

Astigmatism, Nystagmus And +6.5 Lenses, What Can I Do To Improve My Vision?

I have been told i have 3 problems with my eyes which rule out laser eye surgery, my astigmatism, i have a nystagmus and my prescription is high at +6.5. On eye tests i am told i should be able to drive but in reality i can not read a number plate at the required distance.
Is there anything i can do/have done to improve my vision so i can drive?

I was prescribed acuvue advanced for toric. The doctor said I was a “perfect candidate” for toric lenses and that the lenses would eventually make my astigmatism go away.
