I Have Astigmatism. Can I Still Get My Commercial Pilot License?

hi there, i live in london and im young man with a dream , i want to live as a pilot, recently i read the CAA authorities requirements in medicals and saw the required minimum expectations for the eyes
my left and right eye are 4.75
which my optometrist said is fine for both my class 1 and 2
then came my astigmatism she saw on my left eye its 2.5
my right eye is 1.5
my left exceeded the minimum for my class 1 which is 2
im so scared and worried my dream is all and over and i need to find a way im never gonna give up
i need help from any pilots any eye specialists can my astigmatism be treated???
has anyone done a medical and saw that they aren’t that strict ?
what do i do ?

he says he’s been here and there for eye exams for special contacts for this but gets the run around after they find out he doesn’t have no insurance what could be done for him to pass this test also he has to have a eye doctor sign the eye exam sheet.he says he tried to get financial assistance as well.he needs to see through the vision test.

Can I Get A Drivers License In Wisconsin Being Blind In One Eye?

I would sure like to get my drivers license and have asked the DMV what the requirements are and they refer me to the website. I have had an astigmatism in my left eye and there is scar tissue and a light film around my lense which gives me partially blurred vision. For driving I would think that the left or right eye should not make a difference in restrictions. That is my opinion. I can’t seem to get access to hear what the ‘decision makers’ have to say. Would the ophthamologist be the decision maker? Does the DMV have their own eye doctors? I’ve also tried to find a doctor to try and remove the scar tissue and film. None seem to want to try because they fear that the procedure will cause a cataract.
