Blurred Vision And Diminished Light In One Eye?

I have blurred vision in my right eye. I have lots of floaters in both eyes but the right in particular. The light in the right eye seeems to be “dimmer” in the right eye compared to my left eye. My eyesight background is that I have high astigmatism in both eyes but higher in the right eye. I have bee wearing RPG contact lenses for about 6 months now. There is some visual change from the wearing of contacts, but none lasting. My right eye has had this problem for relatively lnog time now even before the contact lenses. So I am reluctant to believe they are the cause. My doctor said my corneas and retina look fine on my last visit 6 months ago. Any reason for concern? It is like I am looking through a dirty window.

Best Contact Lenses For Astigmatism And Light Sensitive Eyes?

Acuvue for astigmatism is good for people with this problem b/c they also contain UV shielding. However, I wear regular contacts (Acuvue) even though I have astigmatism. The doctor said my astigmatism was not severe and that I could probably get by with regular contacts, plus they are much cheaper normally, although I have not checked the prices recently. My contacts also have UV shielding which makes me feel good since my husband just had cataract surgery.
