Is Vision Insurance Like Regular Health Insurance In That You May Not Be Covered If You Already Have Glasses?

It’s hard to get health insurance if you have an existing problem. Is it also hard to get vision insurance like this?
I have never had vision insurance, but hope to get it soon. I am nearsighted in one eye and have astigmatism in the other, which are pretty common problems; but, even common problems make normal insurance difficult!

What Is It Like To Get Contacts?

I’ve been wearing glasses for about a year now. I’m nearsighted with an astigmatism, and I’m interested in getting contacts. I’m a little nervous to get them, however my eye doctor told me that I can wear them if I want. If I decide to try them, do I need to go back to the eye doctor or I can I use the same prescription as my glasses on 1800contacts or another similar site? What is the upkeep on them? Are they comfortable? Thank you!

I want to be a flight attendant but some airline websites say that your vision has to be at least 20/40. I wear glasses but I’m not sure whether or not I meet the 20/40 requirement because I have quite a bit of astigmatism.

How Do You Be In A Test Group For New Eye Products Like For Lenses Or Contacts?

Here is my dilemma. I have very bad vision. I have abut a -10 in my left eye, a -14 in my right eye, astigmatism in both and am colorblind. I just picked up my new contacts and my axis for the weight in my left contact seems to be off. I have to go back and get it checked again. I don’t have to have a weight in my right eye. Now I know I am not the only blind bat out there. I live in California. How do I find out how to be on trial groups for new lenses?

Are There Any Astigmatism Lenses Available In Usa For Very High Cylinders Like -2.75 And -3.00.?

I have these high cylinders with spherical numbers also as -3.00 and -4.25.i have tried the lenses that my contact lense pratisionre gave but they are not as acurate as my glasses are.i have axis as 028 and 002.i have tried a coup[le of them but nothing is as clearas the glasses.I dont want to wear the glasses.If anyone has a better option please write. Thanks

Does Anyone Have Experience With Toric Contact Lenses? Do You Like Them? Are They Easy To Wear?

I have been thinking about trying contacts again and due to an astigmatism the torics and rigid gas permeable are my only options. I already tried the RGP and didn’t like them. Opinions would be great. Thanks!
