So, if you have enough astgmatism that you have to wear toric lenses, then you are most likely out of luck as far as colors go.<br />
Although if you are within that limited power range, your Dr. may be able to get you trial lenses and see if they will work for you.</p>

I wear glasses all the time and i fancied (after much courage building) to go and make myself a contact lens fitting appointment.<br />
As i have been wearing my glasses since the age of 5 or 6 i have quite a &#8220;strong&#8221; optical prescription.<br />
I also have astigmatism so therefore i would be requiring the &#8220;toric&#8221; lenses.<br />
I have noticed that all of the contacts only go up to a power of + 6.00 diopters, is the glasses prescription the same as contact lense prescription powers.<br />
My prescription is +6.50 and +6.75 in the other eye, will that make me not eligible for toric contacts?<br />
Or could i just wear the +6.00? As the opticians did consider that to be a viable option.<br />
