I have a perscription for my eyesight, leff: sph -0.75 cyl -2.25, right: sph -0.50 cyl -2.25. Thing i wanna ask is, i am 26 when you think the development of myopic astigmatism will stop, my previous glasses 2 years ago were both eyes sph -1.00 cyl -1.50 and second question, what do you advise me to wear glasses or contact lenses, whichone would give me the best possible eyesight. Eye exercises are generally useless. In your son’s case specifically, no exercise will fix either his nearsightedness or his astigmatism.

That’s either legally blind or really close. I’ve never seen anyone over a 5.0 and they couldn’t see two inches in front of their face. Since you are 19 I’m going to say that it will probably get better with time and then it will level off. Just do things now to prevent it front getting worse like not reading in low light and things like that.

Every patient is different. It is possible that he could, but it is also possible that enough of the cornea will have been removed in the first surgery that it cannot be done again.
He will need to check with his doctor to determine the correct answer for his specific situation.
