Do They Make Contacts That You Can Wear At Night For People With Astigmatism?

I’ve worn contacts for over two years now and I have the kind for astigmatism. I’ve only had one check up since then, they day I got them. I’m not supposed to leave them in overnight, but I’ve forgotten to take them out a few times. If I accidently fall asleep with them in, even if it’s ten minutes, when I wake up there very dry and harder to take out. My next appointment I would like to get ones you can wear overnight if they’re available.

My Contacts Are Really Blurry And I Can’t Drive At Night With Them In.?

They’re supposed to be the same prescription as my glasses, but I still feel like I need reading glasses or something. Sometimes it’s almost like the contact isn’t fully covering my eye, when I know it is and eye drops don’t really help. They’re Acuvue Oasys with hydraclear and I’ve been wearing them since June. Maybe I’m just not used to them yet, or maybe I dunno. Any ideas? Also note, that I’m farsighted and I do not have an astigmatism…

New Contacts–what Does It Mean If I See Shadows/clouds Around Signs And Lights At Night?

I have new contact lenses which seemed perfect in the eye doctor’s office (had no trouble reading the eye chart), but I’m having issues seeing with them out in the real world, especially at night. When I drive, street lights have a hazy cloud around them, and street signs (especially the reflective ones) seem to have shadows (almost like seeing double). And I notice the words on the sign are harder to read as well.
It’s a brand new pair, and a new prescription. Is the prescription power too strong/weak, is my astigmatism over/under corrected? I don’t understand why they seemed fine in the office though.

When night driving I see double road signs…and its hard to read them. I never had this problem with my gas permiable lenses or with glasses. I’ve had these contacts for about a month.

My Contact Went Behind My Eye About A Week Ago. Then Last Night I Fell Asleep With Another Pair In.?

I have the ACUVUE Advance for Astigmatism contacts. Last Sunday, I was laying down, and when I blinked, my contact disappeared, going up behind my eyelid. I didn’t think much about it because people say it’ll just come out after a short period of time or maybe a few days.
Then last night, I was exhausted and passed out on the floor with my contacts in. I slept for a about 11 hours. When I woke up, my eye didn’t seem too bad, so I left the contacts in. When I went to take a shower 4 hours ago, I took them out, and when I did, my eye hurt really badly. Now my eye is really swollen and red, and I can barely open it. I’ve been applying eye-drops a lot, but it’s not helping.

as told many years ago that I had this condition but it has gotten progressively worse in the last 5 years. I am not able to afford an eye doctor at this point and time so any response is appreciated.
